Following a fantastic inaugural event in Brighton in April 2026, The DEMMY Awards – affectionately known as THE DEMMYS – return for their second year in 2027, continuing their mission to recognise, reward and celebrate the extraordinary individuals who power the demolition industry and those industries linked to it such as asbestos removal, remediation and equipment.

Created by Demolition Hub, The DEMMYS are different. While projects, companies and equipment often take centre stage, these awards shine the spotlight firmly on the PEOPLE behind the industry's success.

From the skilled machine operators and dedicated site teams to the project managers, engineers, safety professionals, rising stars and industry leaders, The DEMMYS recognise those whose passion, expertise and commitment keep demolition moving forward – because behind every successful demolition project is an exceptional team of people.

The inaugural DEMMYS in 2026 brought together professionals from across the industry for an unforgettable celebration of individual achievement, camaraderie and recognition. Now, building on that success, we're raising the bar once again.

On Friday 16 April 2027, the prestigious Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield will welcome the demolition community for another spectacular evening of awards, entertainment and industry networking.

Whether you're nominating an outstanding colleague, celebrating your team's achievements, supporting the event as a sponsor or simply joining us for a fantastic evening, The DEMMYS are your opportunity to celebrate the very best people in demolition.
